Former Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye finalist, Emmanuel Umoh, said that he felt he didn’t do enough to win the show.
He said this in an interview with the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Tuesday, two days after the show ended.
Ebuka asked Emmanuel if he was disappointed that he didn’t win the show despite getting to the final.
“I wasn’t disappointed I didn’t win the prize, I was disappointed because I didn’t do enough to earn the prize. That was how I felt,” came the reply.
BBNaija season six came to an end on Sunday and Whitemoney emerged as the winner, clinching the grand prize worth N90,000,000.
Emmanuel, however, was the first housemate to make it to the finale when the ultimate veto power holder title was introduced in the penultimate week.
As the ultimate veto power, the housemate gets immunity and automatically secures a place in the final week.
Luck and strategy came into play and Emmanuel emerged as the ultimate veto power holder after the games.
He picked his love interest, Liquorose, as the Head of House, and Cross, as the Deputy. As a result, the trio became the first set of finalists for the BBNaija season six.
After the votes, Whitemoney, Pere and Angel joined the top three to produce the final contenders for the grand prize.
With a voting percentage of 47 per cent, Whitemoney emerged as the winner of the show, with Liquorose becoming the first runner-up.
